Hi Glade Primary School. Room 7 Mapua School, New Zealand here. (If you want to find out more about us you can check out our blog at http://teressahosie.blogspot.com/) We spotted your koru designs and want to say they look great. We love the colours you have chosen and the way you have blended them.
ReplyDeleteThe koru is an important motif (design) for the Maori people and symbolises new life. Maori artists use it in many ways to tell their stories. The Pakeha (European NZers) love the koru designs too.
We are looking forward to seeing more of your work when you are finished.
Regards
